  3. I loved Bear Has a Story to Tell. I haven't heard of the John Boyne book but I could tell right away that Oliver Jeffers was the illustrator. I need to check that one out.

  6. Hi there Gigi, these are glorious picture books you have here. So great to see these titles, especially Interrupting Chicken. I've been meaning to get to that one, but haven't gotten around to as yet. I have a distinct feeling I'd fall in love with Bear Has a Story to Tell. I've also seen the John Boyne book around, the fact that it's illustrated by Oliver Jeffers alone makes me want to pick it up. Have a great reading week and may you have a wonderful New Year!

    1. Thanks Myra, I was not very familiar with Oliver Jeffers before. His illustrations really help to tell this pretty strange story.
