It's Monday, What Are You Reading? January 11, 2016

Please visit the amazing blogs: Teach Mentor Texts and Unleashing Readers who host this terrific meme each week.

Here are the books I read last week.
Click on the covers to learn more about each book.

Great series for grades 2-3

Oh my word! Wordless perfection!

Finished...
Loved this middle grade historical fiction novel. Review to come.

A good read for teacher writers.

At ALA I read a bunch of picture books! I don't have time to include them now, but will next week.

 What are YOU reading friends?

  1. The Only Child is going to be coming through my Jr. Library Guild order and I can't wait to get my hands on it. The Lola Levine series looks interesting. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I saw The Only Child at the bookstore and it is so much larger than I was expecting! I didn't have time to look through it then but I'm eagerly waiting for my library's copy to arrive!

  3. I love using wordless picture books with kids, it's so exciting to see the different ways that they interpret the images and the different stories they create. I'm so glad we have such a range of glorious wordless picture books to use!

  4. I didn't know Tom Romano had a new book out. I need to write more for myself. I'll have to check it out - maybe it will inspire me!

  8. I need to get to Tom Romano's book ASAP. I meant to over Christmas break but I was too busy buying a new house and trying to get our current house ready for sale.
