It is so hard to believe that another year has come and gone. It was a wonderful year for my family and me.
This year I look forward to many things. I look forward to my daughter turning 12 and my son turning 8. My step-daughter will be 18 and will graduate from high school. My husband and I will celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary.
I also look forward to another great reading year. On Monday, I posted some of my favorite books from 2013. It was a great year indeed. I have enjoyed reflecting here on y blog and on Facebook and Twitter over the last few days, but now is the time for looking forward.
Today I will share some books I am looking forward to reading in 2014. They are in no particular order. Click on the pictures to learn more about each book.
Picture Books
Middle Grade and YA
I'm sure there are WAY more that I have left out.
What books are you looking forward to reading in 2014?
I just started Hope is a Ferris Wheel. Hadn't heard anything about it, which was nice for a change. I'm thinking it's a book kids will love!
ReplyDeleteGreat! I will have to look for it. Thank you for sharing and Happy New Year!
DeleteAhh, great choices! Her's to never feeling like we are "caught up" on our reading! Many of your choices are ones I look forward to as well.
ReplyDeleteHa! We certainly know that feeling well! :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to read your reviews on the picture books. They look great. Might need to pick up a few for the library.
ReplyDeleteI am glad I found a good collection of book on you blog. I buy these for my students as gift whenever they achieve a class room goal, and will also use some in our weekly reading classes. I am so content with my life as a teacher that I don't regret leaving my last job (I used to work as a developer with web designers in karachi). The satisfaction I get by working with student and uplifting them was certainly missing in my last job.
