It will be difficult for many to wait until April for this book. I am planning a full review for tomorrow, but in short, it is perfection. It was so good that I reread it right after finishing it. Kate DiCamillo has a remarkable gift.

  1. Loved Perry Cook, even though I didn't think I would, but haven't read Raymie yet. Will have to see. Not a huge DiCamillo fan.

  9. Aha! That explains why The Whale didn't make it to a lot of end-of-year lists - it's only due out in April in some parts of the world. We already have it in our library and absolutely adored it. The Jessixa Bagley title is also one that caught my eye. I have yet to read Boats for Papa. :)
