It was a picture book week for me this week.

I know several little girls who would LOVE this book!
In my opinion ages 3-8 would like it best.
Sweet, adorable, lovely! A book about finding friendships right in front of you. Ages 3-8 in my opinion.
The librarian at my public library recommended these
last two for me to read.
Cute! Sort of a story of not knowing you want something until it's gone. Ages 5-8
So some might think this one is in poor taste, but I found these poems about how these animals "bought the farm" to be very funny. Ages 6-10

What are you reading friends?
Uni the Unicorn looks really cute. I'm not familiar with Last Laughs. It sounds unique!
ReplyDeleteThe Friend Ship and Pete & Pickles are both cute friendship books for kids. Uni the Unicorn and Last Laughs are both on my To Read list. I should look for them at my library. Have a terrific week.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these adorable-looking picture books, and your post has convinced me to add all of them to my to read list! I hope you're enjoying Bone Gap--I read it several months ago and really loved the writing and the unique plot line of the story.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the picture books, Gigi-noted! I loved Bone Gap, and will watch to see what you think of it! Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteI want to read last laughs. I loved to read this kind of slightly twisted humour. Like Linda B, I'm looking forward to reading what you think of Bone Gap.
ReplyDeleteLast Laughs sounds super fun. I enjoyed Bone Gap a lot.
ReplyDeleteLast Laughs does sound hilarious - those who think it in poor taste should just lighten up, I think ;) Could not get into Bone Gap - saving it for another try this summer.
ReplyDeletePete and Pickles sounds like a great book to help kids think about bigger themes in text. We will definitely grab a copy of Last Laughs - Looks like one that some students will really enjoy.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think of Bone Gap so far? I really enjoyed that one.
ReplyDeleteUni is super popular at our store. Kids are always thrilled when I tell them there's a sequel coming out.
ReplyDeletePete and Pickles is one of my absolute favourite titles of all time.
