  1. Another moose book-hurrah! And I just read Ivan's story, too. What a wonderful one for the younger kids. I just finished a book about migration, so will look for Migrant-great to have a picture book. Gigi. I imagine you're happy that conferences are behind you. Have a great week!

  2. Those are great books! The Night Gardener is our next Newbery Club book! Loved your nonfiction choices for this week - so much to be learned in both books!

  3. I love every single one of your books Gigi! I think The Night Gardener is one of this year's best books. I do need to read Migrant. Thanks for highlighting that title.

  4. I loved Creature Features this week too. How do Jenkins and Page keep producing all these terrific books?? I need to get my hands on the new Moose book--I loved the first one so much. Beholding Bee is at the top of my TBR--very intrigued by the topic. Migrant was lovely--very much over the head of my son, but I loved it (and the art was exquisite). I so rarely read a book I don't enjoy on some level anymore, and that's all thanks to my amazing PLN!

  5. I didn't know there was new Moose book! I have a student who loves all things Moose, so I'll have to share it with her. :-) We picked The Night Gardener as our common read in our Mock Newbery Club. Excited to read it! I LOVED Beholding Bee! Thanks for sharing great titles!
