    1. It is good so far. I am reading it at home with my 11 year old daughter who hates to read, go figure.

  3. I will be curious to hear your thoughts on the Ann Martin book . . . I have a mega Ann Martin fan in the house. Water Castle is in my book bag to read soon--looking forward to that one with all the Twitter raves. And both of those Graphic Novels are on my TBR.

  4. I LOVE One Dead Spy...I was gunning for it to make the MSBA list. I just love the notion of kids learning history through such an engaging avenue. I think Hale's graphic novels are so well done. Did you know there is another in that series? I too am curious to see what you think of the two 2013s you're currently reading...and I knoooow you will be reviewing them for MSBA ;) Please??

    1. I really liked One Dead Spy a lot. I teach the Revolution so this will fit nicely. I'll have to check out the next one. I will review the others when I am done. Should I review them even if I didn't think they were all that great?

  5. Love your nonfiction book recommendations. I just read my class The Last Polar Bear today. A Warmer World would be a great companion. Thanks for such a great selection of books!

  6. I have Seed by Seed from the library, but still haven't opened it-time to do so, Gigi. All these look good, & some I have read. Isn't Open This Little Book wonderful? Glad you've had a vacation!

    1. I had been waiting for my library to get Open This Little Book for so long so I could see what everyone was raving about. I loved it! I bet your kids just read it over and over.

  7. Curious to see what you think of Family Tree. The description didn't make it seem all that appealing, but I'll still have to read it.
