Loved this book of poetry. Check back on Friday for a full review.

This is an absolutely excellent nonfiction book. Full review on Wednesday.

Loved, loved, loved....
The kind of book you plow through because it is so
good and then you are sad that it is over.
Full review soon.
Did I mention that I loved it??

  1. These look good. I've heard such good things about Crenshaw. I do need to get a copy to read for myself.

  2. Nice assortment of books. After all the glowing reviews I've read, I added Crenshaw to my review stack. I am just beginning to read the September releases. Here is my week. Happy reading!

  3. I completely forgot to download Crenshaw from Netgalley! Thanks for the reminder. I have Ruby on the Outside on my radar but can't find a copy. I know I'm spoiled when I'm bummed that I have to wait to read a book until AFTER it's published!

  4. I'm looking forward to reading Crenshaw. Everyone is praising it. I like Nora Raleigh Baskin so I'm looking forward to getting Ruby on the Outside.

  5. Crenshaw made me cry and I hate stories that make me cry. Plus I don't even like cats. But ... way too many kiddos deal with this. Way. Too. Many.

  6. I just received Hypnotize a Tiger and will be reading it this week. Crenshaw has a really attractive attention grabbing cover. I hope its still on NetGalley. I am ready to read it.

  7. Can't wait to read Crenshaw! Loved Hypnotize a Tiger - we are huge Calef Brown fans in my room! He has visited us twice - such a lovely and talented man. Ruby on the Outside is new for me - adding it to the TBR list!

  8. I loved Crenshaw, too, made me so hopeful for all kids to be told about serious things. They deserve the respect! Love the look of Hypnotize Tiger, Gigi. Will keep it on my list!

  9. We are waiting for Crenshaw to be released - So many people have said such wonderful things about it. Dirtmeister's Nitty Gritty Planet Earth looks like a high-interest book. We are looking forward to reading your review on Wednesday.

  11. Sadly we still don't have Crenshaw by Katherine Applegate in our library. Sounds like a beautiful read.
