  3. My boys have really liked Rookie Bookie. I found all of the statistics and things hard to get through, in the same way I find football play-by-plays something I have to skip! I hadn't seen the new Baskin but just requested it from the library. Argh! THere is always something I miss! Thanks for keeping me on top of it!

  5. I haven't seen any of these except for Saving Lucas Biggs. I love its cover! There seem to be a lot of books about Malala -what an inspiring young woman!

  6. I'm hoping to get a copy of For The Right to Learn from Netgalley. We'll see. I brought Saving Lucas Biggs home from our school library to read over the summer. Happy reading this week.

  8. I'll be interested in seeing what you think of The Sign of the Cat. I've seen a couple of good reviews, but the book doesn't look captivating to me. I'll be interested in what you think!

  10. Loved the review of the Malala story. I haven't read any books about her yet--I need to change that.
I hope to get Untamed soon. I love Jane Goodall.

And wasn't Lucas Briggs a pleasant surprise?!

    Happy reading this week! :)

  11. The cover of SAVING LUCAS BIGGS is sucking me in. It reminds me of the new cover of the second Calpurnia Tate book! I really want to read Malala's book now. Thank you for sharing it with us!

  12. Saving Lucas Biggs sounds like my kind of book. Great to see another Malala picturebook. Kids should definitely be introduced to her inspiring story.
