What Are YOU Reading Friends?
I cannot choose between Rain Reign & Absolutely Almost-both so good. I put The Red Bicycle on my list, Gigi. It sounds good, & must get to Ranger In Time, love dog stories, too. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteRanger in Time looks so good, and Kate Messner never disappoints! I never did read This Journal Belongs to Ratchet. Now I have 2 Nancy Cavannaugh books to catch up on! Enjoy Absolutely ALmost!
ReplyDeleteI just got Rain Reign in the mail yesterday and can't wait to read it. I'm hearing such good things about it. I think I'll need a few more weeks of winter break to finish up all the books I want to read. :) Have a great rest of your week & happy new year!

Great books! Smiling to think of you reading Absolutely Almost - I so loved that book...and Albie.
ReplyDeleteI have The Red Bicycle right now too!
ReplyDeleteLoved Rain Reign. Rose just went straight to my heart. So did Albie, though! I think you'll fall in love with him too!
I have Ranger to read over break, hoping to get to it by the end of the week.
Happy Reading this week :)
I just bought This Journal Belongs to Ratchet--can't wait to get to it. I've read Absolutely Almost twice this year. Liked but didn't love first time, but then I read it aloud to my son and really loved it. It works extremely well as a read-aloud. Rain Reign is going on my #mustreadin2015 for sure.
ReplyDeleteGreat list of books this week! Thank you for sharing them. I really enjoyed The Red Bicycle.
ReplyDeleteThe Red Bicycle reminded me a bit of Colin Thompson's BICYCLE. Have you read that one yet?
ReplyDeleteThe Red Bicycle sounds like a fabulous picture book for a social responsibility bin. It will be interesting to see what you think of Absolutely Almost. I wanted to like it, but it just didn't work for me.
ReplyDeleteI have been seeing things about The Red Bicycle. I'm going to have to get that one! How to Behave at a Tea Party was so cute.
ReplyDeleteI just finished reading The Name of this Book Is Secret. I enjoyed it and might possibly read the rest of the series. I will have to look into the books you posted about!
ReplyDeleteThese all look wonderful, and I haven't read any of them! The list grows ever longer! Thanks for sharing, Gigi, and Happy New Year!
