It's Monday, What Are You Reading-January 12, 2015

Please visit the amazing blogs: Teach Mentor Texts and Unleashing Readers who host this terrific meme each week.

I apologize for not having time to write a description of each book, but you can click on the covers to see my rating on Goodreads.

Here are some books I have read recently.

  1. Great titles Gigi. Hope the busy is pleasant and not overwhelming and that you get lots of time for reading. Circa now is a great novel. I really enjoyed it.

  2. I loved The Most Magnificent Thing and I'm glad you posted this on your blog today because it's a good reminder that this would be a great book to read to my students as I introduce their passion projects this week.

  3. I loved Thrive and have used it with my pre-service teachers. It is a great resource! I have wanted to read The Most Magnificent Thing for quite some time. I need to put it on hold at the library!

  4. I gave one of our teachers The Most Magnificent thing to read to her class as they had been working on an engineering projects last fall. She came back thrilled about it and said her students were making all kinds of connections to the book. We've got Jelly Bean in the library, and so far all the readers have been telling me they love it.
