I tried to read it, but had difficulty getting into it.
Listening seems to be going better, but it is still creepy to me.

  1. I loved A Sick Day for Amos McGee. Have you read Bear Has a Story to Tell, also by the Steads? I'm adding Little Dog, Lost to my TBR list. You're the second person in a week who has mentioned it.

  2. Splendors and Glooms is creepy, but I thought the author did well working it all together. I am intrigued by Little Dog Lost. Like Kate above, I keep seeing it on lists! Thanks, Gigi!

  3. I loved Prairie Evers and Lions of Little Rock! I'm adding The Invisible String and Story of Titanic to my TBR list. It seems I have at least one Titanic "expert" in my class every year so I can never have too many books on that subject.

Have you read Rump yet? If not, add it to your list. I think it's going to be hit with middle grade readers! :)

    Happy Reading!

  4. Lions of Little Rock was a great read.

I just requested The Mighty Mars Rovers from the library. That one looks fascinating.

  5. Your nonfiction titles look amazing. Wow what a picture of a giant squid. Lions of Little Rock is my current student book club book. Love this title! My daughter just read Prairie Evers. I just grabbed it back to put on my TBR pile!

  6. Woo-WHoo! I see a lot of 2013-2014 MSBA titles here! I have big time love for Giant Squid, Little Dog Lost, Lions of Little Rock, and Splendors and Glooms. It's going to be fun getting kids excited about these titles next year :) I look forward to reading your review on Breadcrumbs, it wasn't quite what I thought it would be.
